Walk For Life Foundation and ULL join forces to promote research and solidarity support against breast cancer
The Walk for Life Foundation has held a meeting with the Rector of the University of La Laguna Francisco J. García Rodríguez and the Vice Rector of Students, María Rosario Hernández Borges.
The president of the Foundation, Brigitte Gypen, and members of the team, conveyed to the Rector and the Vice-Rector the proposal to establish collaboration ties for financial support for research teams and studies on breast cancer. During the meeting, different ways and initiatives were valued for the educational and supportive involvement of university students in breast cancer and in the Foundation’s projects.
The Rector showed his personal interest and predisposition of the University of La Laguna, and positively valued the initiative of the Walk for Life Foundation to create and formalize collaboration agreements that promote research, and actions that improve the quality of life and the well-being of people affected by breast cancer.
