Participation of the Walk For lIfe Foundation in International Events Against Breast Cancer
The Walk for Life Foundation recently took part in two internationally significant events: the 25th anniversary of Race for the Cure Rome and the Think Pink Europe Assembly. These events are vital for strengthening our mission, providing opportunities to connect with other organizations, and learning from their experiences in the fight against breast cancer.
Race for the Cure Rome is one of the most iconic global events in the fight against breast cancer. Held in Rome, this year’s edition gathered over 130,000 participants who ran and walked in solidarity with those facing this disease. Our Foundation’s presence at this event enabled us to forge connections with similar initiatives to Walk for Life and to observe firsthand various proposals for technical organization and logistics of our race.
The Think Pink Europe Assembly is an annual meeting of organizations with a shared goal of fighting breast cancer. Walk for Life Foundation is the sole entity representing Spain in Think Pink Europe. Coinciding with the Race for the Cure in Rome, this assembly provided a platform for exchanging ideas, strategies, and best practices. Through workshops and networking spaces, our Foundation participated in discussions where knowledge was shared, and new approaches to supporting individuals with breast cancer were addressed.
For Walk for Life Foundation, participation in these events means strengthening and enhancing our support network, connecting with other committed organizations and individuals, and staying updated with the latest advances and trends in the fight against breast cancer. This enables us to continuously improve our programs and services.
